I love how my daughter reads books. She reads each person's words in the right tone of voice. She was reading a Bert & Ernie book, and Ernie woke Bert up early. Bert says "Why did you wake me up so early!?!" Kaia read this how someone would actually sound if they were woken up early.
It's awesome. When characters are excited, she makes sure they sound excited. Not only is she a wonderful reader just in how many words she knows and how well she sounds them out, but she gets the tone of the book right too.
That takes talent, folks.
