Kaia has reached a new phase. I am told by her teachers it is a normal and actually healthy stage. But it ANNOYS THE HELL OUT OF ME.
It is the Defiant Stage. Not just whining about she doesn't want to do something, like before.
Flat out saying "NO!" then looking at me as if to say "and what are YOU going to do about it, baby-carrying one?!!"
She is currently not allowed to play after school on the playground all this week, as last Thursday it took me literally FIVE MINUTES to get her little ass out of the playground. I almost had to physically RUN AFTER HER and pick her up. If she only realized how thankful she should be that I didn't......
I really hope this stage doesn't last long.
